WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND PURCHASING TRAVEL INSURANCE
Please take note of the terms and conditions in our proposal. These are strictly adhered to; we are unable to make exceptions if you must cancel the trip. Therefore, we strongly advise all clients to purchase a trip cancellation insurance policy especially in light of the disruption that the Icelandic volcano has caused and could cause in the future. Travel insurance will cover a financial loss related to interruption of a trip or cancellation due to the Icelandic volcano's ash clouds but only if the policy is purchased before the event takes place. We recommend that you purchase a policy now.

Travel insurance offers protection from cancellation for "any reason," for medical or business reasons, as well as losses resulting from flight delays (resulting in missed tee times or hotel nights) and, possibly, baggage delays (resulting in fees for rental clubs or the need for clothing or accessories), etc.
The addendum to a travel insurance policy that allows you to “cancel for any reason” must be purchased within either one day (CSA) or 15 days (Travel Guard) of payment of your initial deposit. The CSA policy generally covers 100% of costs for covered or non-covered reasons while the Travel Guard policy generally covers 100% of costs for covered and 50% of costs for non-covered reasons. The Travel Guard policy requires notice of cancellation anytime before departure while CSA mandates that such notice be two-days prior to departure. (These terms are subject to change without notice. Please check directly with the insurance provider for up to date information.)
Coverage for cancellation due to a pre-existing medical condition is also subject to the policy purchase date. Review all policy details carefully before making a decision. The insurance companies recommended by Pioneer Golf are independent third parties with terms and conditions of their own that can be more fully explained by their representatives.
